 Portland, OR – (Feb. 24, 2014) – Magneto Brand Advertising has been retained by PaintCare, Inc. to serve as the agency of record in Oregon to help promote the now permanent Oregon Architectural Paint Stewardship Program.

Magneto will be providing marketing and advertising services to include creative development of television, radio, print and digital ads, media planning and buying, public relations, social media, and overall campaign management of the outreach campaign for the next two years. The campaign, slated to begin in April, will reach Oregonians across the state as well as engage targeted environmental and professional associations.

Magneto partnered with PR professional Kim Beeler of Beeler Marketing to implement the public relations component of the campaign and Fred Eckrosh of Eckrosh Marketing to implement the media planning and buying component.

Gov. John Kitzhaber signed a bill making the PaintCare program permanent last July. Oregon was the testing ground and helped pave the way for California and Connecticut to start programs of their own.  Four more states are scheduled to begin programs over the next 12 months, and even more states are expected to follow Oregon’s lead by introducing and passing their own paint stewardship laws in the future.
