Woke up early again today. Couldn’t get back to sleep so I came to work around six. Been having trouble with words. Mental block. Trying to think up words that rhyme with “natural.” It’s a real zinger, like “orange.” That’s a bad one, too.

Speaking of words, something odd is happening around here. People keep putting a “t” before saying “work.” T’work? I can’t make much sense of it. I think it has something to do with a dancing trollop on the Internet. Either that, or I work with idiots or it’s a secret code. Got to be careful with those secret codes – commies will think you’re up to something and attack. As I always say: constant vigilance makes for a safe and secure Buzz.

Long weekend coming up for Labor Day. Staff is probably out scaling mountains, camping, chasing Sasquatch or the like. I don’t understand why they don’t sit at home with a nice fifth of Jack Daniel’s and watch MASH reruns like regular Americans. Ad folks sure have changed.

That reminds me, I’m almost out of my office supply of Jack. Note to self: pick up medicine and cigars at the Quick Mart on Burnside. Otherwise, it will be a real long weekend.
