Smart Energy is a NW Natural sustainability program, and Magneto created its name, logo, tagline and ad campaign. Designed with the use of fun headlines and a consistent graphic look, the campaign introduced Oregonians to bio-gas from cow manure as a sustainable energy alternative. The Smart Energy campaign helped NW Natural hit 50 percent of its first-year signup goal in just three months, and 100 percent in seven. Now there are over 16,000 customers enrolled in Smart Energy, which means an offset of over 212,000 tons of CO2.
