Hotel Eastlund, the first luxury, boutique hotel on Portlandâ€™s Eastside, opened its doors to the public on June 1, 2015. To promote its opening, Magneto was enlisted to assist with several key componentsâ€”ranging from PR to a highly targeted email invitation campaign for the hotelâ€™s Grand Opening Galaâ€”to generate excitement and interest about the new hotel. Living Well Physical Medicine specializes in cutting-edge treatment for symptoms of neuropathy. Magneto created two 30-second TV spots that highlight this minimally-invasive procedure and the increased quality of life it affords. Leading Pacific Northwest design firm Mackenzie underwent a rebrand in 2013 and wanted a corporate video to show at its unveiling party. Magneto delved into Mackenzie's roots to gain a better understanding of the design, architecture and engineering firm's evolution. The Oregon Community Foundation is one of the Pacific Northwest's largest philanthropic organizations. OCF has helped thousands of individuals, businesses and organizations create over 1,600 permanent funds from which grants are distributed to support the impactful work being carried out by Oregon nonprofits. PaintCare is a statewide program that encourages Oregonians to recycle unused paint; and it does so by setting up local drop-off sites to bring a level of convenience to the process. Magneto worked with PaintCare to develop marketing plans that encompass the entire state of Oregon, including media planning, PR, social media and creative development. The marketing efforts promote not only the importance of paint recycling, but also how to purchase appropriate amounts of paint and use leftover paint in creative ways. See the work.
Patrons Media is a new app and website that allows businesses to skip the upfront costs of advertising and pay a portion of a customerâ€™s sales receipt to a project of that particular customerâ€™s choice instead. Polygon Group is the original pioneer in drying technology, complex dehumidification solutions and document recovery. Polygonâ€™s U.S. division tapped Magneto to help announce a major rebranding initiative, both internally and externally. Magneto produced an introductory video and coordinated a live-stream broadcast of the internal company announcement event held in Chicago. Additionally, Magneto coordinated North American PR outreach to industry-specific media organizations across the U.S. and Canada.
The Portland Business Alliance is Greater Portlandâ€™s Chamber of Commerce, representing more than 1,700 member companies and 325,000 businesspeople. The Portland Business Alliance approached Magneto in search of a refreshed brand identity, including a logo and tagline that would reflect an updated representation of the organization, its membership and the important role it plays within the Portland region business community. Portland International Raceway is our hometown race track. Built in 1961 at the site of the historical Vanport flood, PIR has hosted thousands of races of all shapes and sizes. As the only road course of note between Canada and California, PIR has been the track of choice for everything from Champ Car to American Le Mans to NASCAR. Magneto has helped PIR with event messaging, logo, poster and outdoor designs for drag racing, and an integrated campaign for The Mazda Grand Prix of Portland. We know that roses aren't typically orange, but when Rose City Sound approached us to help with its rebranding we couldn't help but think boldly for this 75-year-old production company. The new logo offers a fresh take on the tried and true Rose City reds. The rose logo is graphic and bright, and doubles as an audio speaker. Magneto rounded out the rebrand with new sales collateral material, a graphic standards guide and a fresh website to match. See the work.
Western Rivers protects the pristine waterways of the west for posterity by buying the adjacent lands alongside them. Magneto has been working with Western Rivers for several years on various projects, including rebranding, print ad campaigns, posters and an in-store promotional tie-in with Sierra Nevada Brewing. Western Rivers' visually credible brand reflects its conservation sensibilities and helps to shape its donor outreach efforts.
